As always, these wonderful collages are made by hand in our San Francisco studio. We use carefully selected found, painted, and vintage papers and apply it to custom cut eco-friendly, FSC-certified maple plywood. Apartment Therapy

An admirer of Petit Collage sent us a link that definitely brought a smile to our faces.

Browsing through Apartment Therapy's House Tour of Anne, Alex, and Augie's Appealing Adobe, we spotted our Blue Owl Family and Yummy Apple collages! Lorena and I definitely remember personalizing dear little Augie's collage. It's been quite a while! We're so happy to see these still being enjoyed today.

Our new Tree Friends!

Spring has finally come to our studio in San Francisco. Out goes the space heater and sweaters. Hello to short sleeves and iced coffees! There's nothing like enjoying the nice warm sun and hearing birds chirp outside our windows all day long.

In celebration of the season, we've released a brand new bamboo mobile, Tree Friends. Our most intricate design yet features a bird, an owl, and a hedgehog surrounding a wonderful laser-cut blossoming tree. As with our other mobiles, this is crafted in the U.S. from sustainably harvested bamboo wood. It's now available in our online shop for $68.

Hi all!

Annie here...remember my last post about all the new Petit Collage products we had in store for 2009?

WELL! We're proud to introduce to you a brand new format now available in our shop. Board Books!

Creator of Petit Collage, Lorena Siminovich, teamed up with long-time friend and awesome designer, Sara Gillingham to create this new series of puppet books for young children being published by SF based Chronicle Books.

    

In My Nest and In My Pond feature layered die-cut pages that slowly reveal beautifully collaged environments and animal friends of each puppet. Surely fun to read AND to play with. Some interior pages are shown below:

 

Both books measure 7x7 inches and are about 10 pages long.
